In December 2015, the Provincial Food and Drug Administration applied to the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau for the formulation of local standards for three products: customized removable dentures, computerized traditional Chinese medicine fumigation (washing) multifunctional treatment machines, and ultraviolet therapy devices, which were drafted by the Jilin Medical Device Inspection Institute. These projects were included in the 2016 Jilin Provincial Local Standard Approval Plan.

In the first half of 2015, comrades from the Standardization Department of the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau were invited to participate in the food and drug standard planning discussion organized by the Provincial Bureau to negotiate the formulation of standards for medical devices and other related matters. In the second half of the year, the Technology and Standards Department organized the Provincial Medical Device Inspection Institute to apply for 9 local medical device standard projects, of which 3 received project approval support.

These three products are Class II medical device products, mainly used for preventing, treating, and repairing lesions in the human body, and have a positive effect on ensuring human health.
