1. Evacuate the stool and urine before infusion to prevent the needle from falling off due to defecation during infusion.

2. Before venipuncture, efforts should be made to clench fists to fill the veins and improve the success rate of puncture.

3. If it is cold in winter or if the blood vessels are low, a hot water bag with a temperature of 50 ℃ can be used for hot compress to expand and fill the blood vessels, which is conducive to successful puncture.

4. During the process of receiving infusion, if there is swelling, pain, etc. at the puncture site, it may be due to local drug leakage or needle slipping, and nursing staff should be reported in a timely manner.

5. During infusion, do not turn on the speed controller without authorization to avoid serious consequences such as acute pulmonary edema and heart failure caused by rapid infusion rate.

6. If there is fear of cold or shivering during the infusion process, it may be a reaction to the infusion. The speed controller should be turned off in a timely manner and the nursing staff should be reported.

7. After the infusion is completed, please use a dry cotton swab to compress the needle eye with moderate force for 10 minutes. It would be better to fix it with adhesive tape at the same time, which is beneficial for promoting needle healing.

8. After the pressing time is reached, do not shake your arm hastily within 1 hour to prevent sudden changes in blood flow pressure, which may cause subcutaneous bruising by pushing open the newly healed needle hole again.
